It would be difficult for anyone to claim that they've eaten at Le Gavroche, China Tang, Cafe Anglais, L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon and Tom's Kitchen all on the same day. However, all these and more are represented among the 40 London restaurants at Taste of London in Regent's Park from 19th to 22nd June, in partnership with British Airways.

Fittingly for an international cultural melting pot, restaurants covering every cuisine will be courting visiting foodies with their signature dishes. From Indian (Benares, Café Spice, Tamarind and The Cinnamon Club) and Thai (Nahm), to Pan Asian (Cocoon) and French (Club Gascon and Le Cercle) - every taste will be catered for.

In its fifth year and recently nominated by Time Magazine as one of the World’s Top Food Festivals, Taste of London is the foodie event of the year. This year the festival will be celebrating international cuisine by playing host to Taste of China, part of the China Now festival. Taste of China will feature acclaimed Chinese restaurants: China Tang, Kai, Snazz Sichuan and Lan, the Philippe Starck designed restaurant from Beijing.

From the fiery heat of Sichuan to the subtlety and delicacy of Cantonese dishes, visitors will be able to sample it all. Visitors will also be able to get up close and personal with acclaimed chefs such as Gary Rhodes, Tom Aikens, Anthony Worrall Thompson, Rowley Leigh and Aldo Zilli.

Over 120 exhibitors will ensure a gastronomic day to remember. Sample a variety of superlative food and drink from participants ranging from Fortnum & Mason, Gü Puds, Bonne Maman and Firefly drinks, to Ketel One Vodka, Belazu and Purbeck Ice Cream. Visitors can also make a pit stop at the Tanqueray and Sagatiba stalls to enjoy a cocktail or two or enjoy a drink during the Peroni ‘aperitivo time’.

Relax and browse a collection of recipe, food and wine books at the Waterstone’s Book Signing Lounge. Come and see your favourite foodie celebrity, have your book signed or get involved in the Q&A session. Authors include Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall, Sophie Conran, Tana Ramsay, Ruth Rogers & Rose Gray and Paul Merrett. Levi Roots, the self-proclaimed singing chef, will also be in attendance, talking about his ‘Reggae Reggae Cookbook’ and signing copies.

Action Against Hunger - Visitors to Taste of London will be able to buy tickets from charity Action Against Hunger, to win the chance to sit at the ultimate Chef’s Table on Sunday 22nd June, hosted by luminaries such as Michel Roux Jr, Tom Aikens, Pascal Aussignac and Giorgio Locatelli.

This year also sees the tenth anniversary of Action Against Hunger and to celebrate, chefs and critics will be competing against each other to decorate a tenth birthday cake in just five minutes! Judged by Prue Leith, competitors include Tom Parker Bowles, Michel Roux Jr, Pascal Aussignac and Charles Campion.

Catch up with celebrated chefs at the Taste Kitchen with Sainsbury’s where chefs will be using and visitors can sample regional ingredients including a wide variety of strawberries, local cheeses and British meat.

At the delicious. magazine’s Producers Market is the Bertinet Kitchen cookery school where chef and baker Richard Bertinet will be hosting the best chefs from the regions and giving visitors a taste of the fabulous regional produce found at Taste of Bath, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh. There’s also an opportunity to get 'hands on' in the cookery school.

The Market will include a hand-picked selection of small speciality producers including Tracklements, Lovedean and the Cumbrian Sausage Company.

A gourmet grazing experience, no restaurant lover should miss this tasty event which has already become a firm fixture in any foodie’s calendar.
