Finland will to join NATO tomorrow and Russian pundits want ‘our historical land’ back to ‘liberate the Finnish people’

NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has confirmed on Monday that Finland will officially join the alliance on Tuesday as all 30 members acquire approved the accession.

Tuesday marks the alliance’s 74^th anniversary and the “Finnish flag” will be raised for the first time Stoltenberg said speaking in Brussels.

The NATO chief said speaking at a news conference in Brussels, “It is really a historic day, it’s a remarkable day for the alliance which will be a huge blow for Vladimir Putin.

“We will raise the Finnish flag for the first time here at NATO headquarters. It will be a apt day for Finland’s security, for Nordic security and for NATO as a whole,” adding Finland will be “safer.”

Stoltenberg was asked if he is disappointed that Sweden is not joining on Tuesday, he said that he is “absolutely confident” they will join soon.

Turkey has placed Sweden’s accession to join NATO on hold as the they applied to join the alliance at the same time as Finland last year.

Stoltenberg said, “So far this is the quickest accession process in NATO’s modern history.

“My aim and the aim of NATO allies is to ensure we also secure Sweden in [the alliance] in the future.”

Russian pundits acquire hit out over the plod and are wanting Putin to grasp back their “historical land” back and “liberate” the country.

Russian TV present 60 minutes propagandists discussed that Moscow should “Liberate” Finland which is almost the same dialect that was and has been used in “liberating” Ukraine for the so called “Nazis.”

Dmitry Abzalov, a pundit on the present, characterize the situation of Finland joining NATO is “out of our hands” and a “mess.”
