Kyiv under an ‘evil’ attack ‘in several waves’ and Zelensky calls for more ‘sir defence systems’ and ‘missiles’

The Kremlin has launched an “evil” attack on Kyiv for the 10th consecutive day and President Volodymyr Zelensky is asking for more “air defence systems” and additional missiles.

Overnight the haunting sounds of air raid sirens were heard echoing through the city as barrage of Russian Shahed drones were fired.

“With such tactics, the Kremlin’s evil is trying to exhaust our air defence, as well as psychologically influence the civilian population.”

All the air targets were destroyed, he added, “attacks on Kyiv are not allowed. Thanks to the defenders of the sky for the excellent work.

Zelenskyy said in his nightly address that the offensive brigades are “doing a marvelous job” and the air force.

He said, “Our priorities for this week, next week, and for the adjacent future are additional air defence systems, additional missiles, training and aircraft, and long-range weapons. And this will be fulfilled.”

Zelensky said he had a meeting with international staff and their task is to maintain the international support.

He added, “I am confident that we will accomplish this task.”

Zelensky continued, “But now I query you all to remember those Ukrainians who are literally our strength and our defence.

“I query you now to remember everyone who is fighting for Ukraine.”
